The Growth of Yupo Corporation – In the U.S. and Beyond
Yupo Corporation America was founded in 1996 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yupo Corporation, headquartered in Japan. YUPO synthetic paper is manufactured in a 160,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility located in Chesapeake, Virginia. Products created at the Chesapeake facility are then distributed to South America and Canada, as well as major markets in the U.S. In addition to Yupo’s Japanese headquarters, Yupo also has a sales office in Düsseldorf, Germany.
