Customer Service and Sales Support Representative
Represents Yupo as the key product and general customer contact for orders, price quotations,
service, delivery, complaints and general questions for Latin America and U.S. Communicates with Field Sales force on all aspects of customer order entry, delivery and pricing. Communicates with Manufacturing, Logistics, Shipping, Accounting, IT and other departments to meet customers’ needs and sales forecast. Coordinates and maintains order entry system from sample requests to invoicing. Coordinates and implements special projects related to Sales and Marketing. Maintains and projects a positive quality image externally and internally.
Manufacturing Support Technicians
Supports the Production Manager in achieving Forming and Pelletizing area goals in line with achieving the site’s business groups’ objectives. Provides leadership where needed in order to assist in meeting these objectives. Ensures continual safe operations, customer commitments and quality standards are achieved, productivity objectives met, maintenance programs support reliable production and that effective communications are employed in achieving these objectives.
Develops and implements systems to improve productivity, with primary focus on peoples’ skills and their ability to effectively interact with systems and equipment. Involved in production planning, and operational flow (working in concert with QA, Production Control & Procurement groups).
Works closely with manager to set priorities, to develop programs, and track progress against goals. In order to effectively prioritize issues, maintains a strong working relationship with shift supervisors and their teams, the process engineering group and the maintenance group.
Technical understanding of the manufacturing process is essential to ensure effectiveness in role. Applies engineering knowledge, where appropriate, to improve the ability to and consistency of achieving these goals.
Resource to shift production teams. Assures compliance with safety, quality, and production standards. Continually improves the process, product and work environment. Assures resources are available to meet production demands. Tracks quality and production indicators (e.g., yields, quality trends, etc). Takes the lead role in monitoring product production consistency and conformance to established technical requirements. Coordinates technical issue resolution in production. Leads or supports, as necessary, process and product development project initiatives. Supports customer technical issues as required.
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineer or similar technical area. A minimum of 2 years experience in process engineering required.
Provides on-going process support to 24/7/365 operations. Readily available for off- hours operations support.
